What if I get sick?

If you're sick or injured or just need help in dealing with the stress of exams, the Elson Student Health Center offers services for general medicine, counseling, learning needs, immunizations, and medical emergencies.

The health center stresses the importance of student health and happiness and has the staff and resources to help you maintain both. U.Va. requires that all students have health insurance, so if you should need a specialist who accepts your insurance, Student Health also has a student-friendly external referral service to help you find one. Other Student Health resources include:
