There's no one typical day for a U.Va. student, but if there were, it would be full:

A morning class on political philosophy. Perhaps a chemical thermodynamics or jazz history class afterward. Then a long workout in the Aquatic and Fitness Center or Ultimate Frisbee on the Lawn, followed by volunteer time at the U.Va. Hospital.

After an hour or two in the library navigating through a digital 3-D model of Ancient Rome, there's a chance to grab a bite on the Corner with friends. Finally, after more study time, sleep. With a full-time course load, you'll have at least 15 credits or about five classes per week, although many students take more.

Since U.Va. students have a lot of freedom and flexibility in their schedules and their studies, you can decide how best to budget your time, whether you're studying, doing a service activity, working part-time, or hanging out with friends after class.
