The Virginia Quarterly Review Advisory Board
Charge
The advisory board provides guidance, advice, and assistance to the Editor of The Virginia Quarterly Review on matters related to publication, policy, and administration. Duties may include:
- Suggesting authors and/or subjects
- Serving as resources for literary contributions
- Advising the Editor on financial, development, and administrative issues
The Chair of the advisory board reports to the President on The Virginia Quarterly Review's general condition at the end of each semester, and identifies needs or concerns requiring the President's attention.
Committee Structure:
The board consists of nine faculty/staff members from the University and the publishing industry. A representative from the Office of the President and the Editor of The Virginia Quarterly Review serve as ex-officio members. The Editor serves as the Executive Secretary.
