Charge

The Committee shall be charged to provide guidance, advice, and assistance to the Editor of The Virginia Quarterly Review on matters related to publication, policy, and administration. Duties may include:

The Chair of the Committee shall report to the President on the general condition of the Quarterly at the end of each semester and identify any needs or concerns requiring attention by the administration. If the Editor’s position shall become vacant, the Committee shall identify potential candidates for consideration by the President.

Committee Structure:

The Committee shall be comprised of nine faculty/staff members from the University and three non-University members representing the following areas: Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry. In addition, the Editor of The Virginia Quarterly Review shall be an ex-officio member and serve as the Executive Secretary.
