UVA NewsMakers is a speakers series that provides an opportunity for a wider audience to hear notable speakers and scholars who are either University of Virginia faculty or visiting The University. This public service program is produced by the Television News Office within University Relations.

UVA NewsMakers programs are broadcast through the outlets listed below:

• Charlottesville Public Access, Ch. 13: Thursdays and Fridays
Blue Ridge Public Television - Roanoke: WBRA-TV 15 & WBRA-DT 3, Marion: WMSY-TV 52 & WMSY-DT 42, Norton: WSBN-TV 47 & WSBN-DT 32
. Sundays at 2:30pm.

The program is also broadcast nationally on the ResearchChannel, a nonprofit consortium of research universities and corporate research divisions. ResearchChannel programming is available by direct-broadcast satellite, cable television, webcast, and video on-demand.

• Programs are thirty minutes in length unless otherwise noted.
