University of Virginia South Lawn Project Breaks Ground

9/29/06 - U.Va officials have broken ground on the South Lawn Project, which will extend the axis of Thomas Jefferson's original Lawn across Jefferson Park Avenue. Speakers include U.Va President John Casteen, Rector Thomas F. Farrell II, Dean Ed Ayers of the College of Arts and Sciences, and Jeffrey Nuechterlein of the College Foundation.
