Around the World in 90 Minutes with Cavalier Travels6/7/08 - Cavalier Travels is the University's Travel Program for alumni, parents and friends. Recent travels have included a transit of the Panama Canal and a climb on China's Great Wall. In this podcast, Cavalier Travels Director Kevin Conley gives a history of the program, and three UVa professors talk about what they've seen. Class of 2003 Panel Discussion: Where Are They Now?6/7/08 - Life has started to creep up on the class of 2003. Jobs, mortgages, spouses, and yes, even kids are starting to take the place of all-nighters in Alderman, streaking the Lawn, swiping IDs at O-Hill,and hanging out on the Corner. In this podcast, a panel of alumni talk about where they are now and tell stories about the diverse ways they have been living their life since graduation. The Class panelists are Adam Beebe (Peace Corps volunteer), Meghan Streit (lived in Nicaragua
and mother, James Aldige (studying at Oxford in England), Steve Shuster (songwriter for commercials in Los Angeles), John Lane (U.S. Army and now lives with parents), and Sarah Jobe (Duke Divinity School graduate and mother). The moderator is Cara Volpe. |
