You will need to use Internet Explorer for these instructions to work correctly.

 

 

These instructions will only work if...

-you are logged into an administrator account on your computer

-you have http://pcs-plp.pcs.virginia.edu/printers listed as a trusted site. For instructions on adding a trusted site, click here.)

 

1. Choose a printer from the locations below. All printers listed are B/W, unless specified as Color.

2. Clicking on the printer name (ex. Alderman_3806) will redirect you to the installation page for that printer.

3. An Add Web Printer Connection window will appear. Click Yes

4. A progress bar will appear and the printer will be installed. If you recieve a software compatibility error, click Continue.

5. Once the printer has finished installing, you may close your browser or use the Back button to return to these instructions and install another printer.

 

(Note for users of this installation method: When selecting your print job at a PCS print server your username/ID will appear as "iusr_pcs-plp.pcs.virginia.edu". You will need to locate your print job by its file name, so please take note of it when printing.)
