VIRGINIA FOUNDATION FOR THE HUMANITIES ANNOUNCES
Second Edition of The Virginia Indian Heritage Trail Guide
The Virginia Indian Heritage Program announces the publication of the second edition of The Virginia Indian Heritage Trail guide, made possible with funds from the Virginia Tourism Corporation. The new edition features an excellent section on Virginia Indian archaeology by Dr. Jeffrey Hantman, as well as new maps of tribal locations pre-contact & today. A map of all of our recommended sites for visitors is included, along with an updated calendar of 2008 events. The book is free and available at the thirteen Virginia Welcome Centers (http://www.vatc.org/csir/directory.asp). It can also be ordered through our website, http://virginiaindianprogram.org.
