Ekema Agbaw,
Consultant and visiting lecturer in African-American and African literature.  Agbaw is a veteran of the 2003 “Roots” seminar and an expert on African-American and African literature.  He teaches at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania, where he directs the university’s Frederick Douglass Institute for Academic Excellence.  He will returned to the ROOTS seminars in 2005 and 2007 as discussant for to offer fresh critical perspectives on the presentations of participants’ presentations.
