Objectives

The Bias Review and Advisory Committee was created by the Office of the Vice President and Chief Officer for Diversity and Equity as a collaborative initiative with the following objectives:

To review and analyze bias complaint data from the summary reports prepared by the Office of the Dean of Students on a semesterly basis.

To examine the bias complaint data and make recommendations for institutional changes to reduce bias and related incidents.

To advise University leaders in the development of institutional responses to bias complaints, making recommendations for institutional policy and action to the Office of the President, the Vice President and Chief Officer for Diversity and Equity, the Vice President and Chief Student Affairs Officer, and others, as appropriate.
