Areas of Engagement - Friends
Effective communication must be established and maintained with friends and allies who understand the important role diversity plays in maintaining excellence at the University. These allies will come from various constituencies, including parents of current students; members of the media; and local, state, and national elected officials. These individuals can help to disseminate positive information about U.Va. and promote a favorable image of the University within their various social and professional circles.
