There’s still time to join us today at the Media, Democracy and Diversity Conference. The event kicks off at 9 a.m. with onsite registration in Newcomb Hall; panel discussions and presentations begin at 10 a.m.

At 2:15, author and consultant David Bullock will lead a master class in Clemons Library, room 407. The class, New Media and Your Future, will be filmed and streamed live via Ustream. About the Author: Sonya Donaldson is currently a doctoral candidate in English literature at the University of Virginia, where she teaches twentieth- and twenty-first century literature and a popular first-year writing course, “Technology and Identities/Tech & Sensibility.” She is also the Technology Editor at Black Enterprise magazine and a public speaker on a variety of tech issues: social media for entrepreneurs and small businesses, digital divide and access, women in technology, African American tech innovation, and technology and education.
