The University of Virginia offers graduate degrees through nine of its ten schools. Of the 19,000-plus students enrolled at the University, more than 6,000 are students in one of the graduate or first-professional (law and medicine) degree programs. A complete listing of all degrees offered by the University may be found here.
The admissions process is handled by each individual graduate school. Prospective graduate students should apply directly to the school and/or program in which they are interested. Below are links to admissions offices for each of the University's nine graduate schools. Program-specific questions should be addressed to the director of graduate studies within an individual department. A listing of academic departments may be found here.
