The UVa community has rapidly become a nationally prominent generator of new technology-based ventures. Sharing views with outside partners is essential to our collective efforts to encourage innovation and to identify novel solutions for the marketplace. In the spirit of Thomas Jefferson, venture capitalists and alumni from top investment firms across the nation annually gather with innovative researchers, academics, and students at UVa's Venture Summit. The event blends forward-thinking energy with the storied history of the University.

Interested in receiving investor feedback by presenting your pitch at the UVa Venture Summit? Apply!
This will be a public forum. The venture must have at least one UVa alumnus, faculty, staff or student as a founder OR be based on UVa technology OR be based in the Charlottesville area.
Ventures should be beyond seed stage and have already secured arm's-length funding (funding other than from friends and family).
Ventures which have not received arm's-length funding may be eligible for the Venture Fair (see below). Submission deadline is March 5, 2012.
