U.Va. Graduate Student Research:
Addressing Real World Issues

In 1825, Thomas Jefferson wrote, “I hope [the University of Virginia] will prove a blessing to my own state, and not unuseful perhaps to some others." Over the subsequent 180 years, U.Va. evolved into a premier national and international institution of higher education, drawing students from every state in the union and more than 120 countries.

We invite you to meet some U.Va. graduate students, past and present, and take a brief look at the research that has defined their graduate experience. If you are a faculty member or graduate student and know of an individual whose research should be highlighted, please e-mail gradstudies-at-virginia.edu.
