Using multi-media to collect data (i.e. video tapes, audio tapes, photography)
You are not required to use a Materials Release form if you are using video tape, audio tape, photography, etc, to collect data for your study and the data will be used only for your study (not presented at conferences, archived in a library, or kept for future research). However, there may be additional information you need to provide your participants about how the data will be collected and stored, and any issues surrounding confidentiality.
