SBS Guide for Researchers

Guide :: Media Guide

Media Guide

As technology continues to progress, so does our ability to use these tools for research purposes.  Photographs, audio recordings, video recordings, and the Internet are the most common tools used in social and behavioral science research. These tools are effective and important to the research process, and their correct use should be encouraged.  As you use these tools to collect information about your participants, please keep in mind that as the level of identity captured on the data recording increases, so does the risk to participants.
