U.Va. research is disseminated through faculty member publications in scholarly journals and books and through University publications, including regularly updated websites, expert directories and locators, and electronic newsletters, as well as publications from each of the ten academic units.
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies produces and distributes Explorations and Research News. Explorations is an electronic and print report featuring top research themes and selected U.Va. investigators, and is published in the fall, winter, and spring. Research News is an online research publication that is updated weekly and distributed monthly by electronic newsletter.
The Office of Economic Development at U.Va. supports an entrepreneurial research culture, facilitating faculty, industry, and community partnerships in order to cultivate technologies that provide real-world solutions.
The Corporate and Foundation Relations team in the Office of University Development assists with university-industry research partnerships and with a host of research intensive interactions, including student internships and class research projects.
The Public Service team in the Office of the Vice President and Provost sponsors the “Engaging the Mind” lecture series that brings leading U.Va. researchers to communities across the Commonwealth.
