Re: IMPORTANT: Honor Educational Module

Dear New Student:

Welcome again to the University!

I hope your first semester here is off to a good start. As you begin your academic career at U.Va., it is critical that you understand your responsibilities as a student and the expectations we have here for academic and personal integrity. In order to reinforce your understanding of the Honor System, I have included a link to a mandatory educational module that discusses our Honor System.

All students entering any school at the University are required to complete this module. You must complete the module by October 24. Failure to complete this module will result in a block on your NetBadge systems, including your U.Va. email and Collab. I encourage you to take this module as soon as you are able. Thank you for your cooperation.

As we are in the midst of midterms, I hope that this module will be helpful in furthering your understanding of our Honor System for this semester and during the entirety of your time here. If you ever have any questions about Honor at the University of Virginia, please feel free to contact the Honor Committee. You can find your elected representatives' contact information on our website or you can call the office on the fourth floor of Newcomb Hall Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 434-924-7602.

Best Regards,

Stephen Nash
Chair, Honor Committee
