Date: October 10, 2012 To: Second-, Third-, and Fourth-Year U.Va. Students From: Stephen Nash, Honor Committee Chair Re: Honor Educational Module
Dear Student:
I hope your fall semester is off to a good start. As midterms approach, I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you about your responsibilities as a student and the expectations we have here for academic and personal integrity. In order to reinforce your understanding of the Honor System, I have included a link to an online educational module that discusses our Honor System.
This short module is a helpful educational tool that provides you with some of the basic information that you are expected to know. I highly encourage you to complete the module at your earliest convenience and no later than October [24 or 25].
As we are in the midst of midterms, I hope that this module will be helpful in furthering your understanding of our Honor System for this semester and during the rest of your time here. If you ever have any questions about Honor at the University of Virginia, please feel free to contact the Honor Committee. You can find your elected representatives' contact information on our website or you can call the office on the fourth floor of Newcomb Hall Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 434-924-7602.
Best Regards,
Stephen Nash |
