FOOTBALL AND FOOTBALL STUDENT GUEST TICKETS
The Virginia football team hosts Oregon at Scott Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 7. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. The student entrance is located at Scott Stadium’s North Gate adjacent to Alderman Road. Students are asked to have their UVa student ID ready to hand to a guest relations staff member to be swiped at the gate.
STUDENT COUNCIL / ATHLETICS WATER DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM
For the fifth consecutive season, the athletics department and Student Council will implement a free bottled water distribution program if the heat index is above 90 degrees during a home football game. Students will be notified the day before home football games if this program will be implemented the next day at Scott Stadium.
All students are encouraged to join ’Hoo Crew, the student fan group at the University of Virginia. Membership is free and includes a free t-shirt and Orange Passport card. All new and returning students must sign up for the 2013-2014 ’Hoo Crew online at www.uvahoocrew.com. By presenting your Orange Passport card at designated Orange Passport athletics events, students earn Sabre points. Sabre points improve your chance to receive student tickets to home men’s basketball games and win prizes at the end of each semester. For more information, visit www.uvahoocrew.com.
MEN’S BASKETBALL STUDENT TICKETING PROCEDURES
Students must register online at www.uvashots.com for admission to all home regular-season men’s basketball games due to limited seating availability in John Paul Jones Arena. There is no charge for student admissions to regular season home games. Returning students who have already created a SHOTS account do not need to sign up again. Please check your account to make sure it is still active. The registration period for tickets to the first two home men’s basketball games, including the Nov. 12 game against VCU, will begin Monday, Oct. 7.
Additionally, student guest tickets are available for home men’s basketball games based on availability. Visit www.uvashots.com for sale dates and more information.
Tickets to sports other than football and men’s basketball may be purchased for friends and family members through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office based on availability. For complete schedule and ticketing information online, visit www.VirginiaSports.com. The Virginia Athletics Ticket Office may be reached by phone at 1-800-542-UVA1.
