Students with disabilities who have concerns regarding housing should contact the Housing Division as soon as they know that they want to live in on-Grounds Housing. This will give the Housing Division time to arrange for appropriate accommodations.

 

These residence hall complexes have accessible suites or rooms with roll-in showers:

  • Alderman Road
  • Brown College
  • Copeley III/IV
  • Faulkner
  • Gooch-Dillard
  • Hereford College (limited privacy in open shower and bathroom areas)
  • The International Residential College (Lewis House)
  • University Gardens (Family Housing)

These Residence hall complexes have accessible living areas but no roll-in showers:

  • Lambeth Field
  • Bice
  • McCormick Road

This information is provided for information only. The Housing Division is willing to modify bathrooms, kitchens, and other spaces as needed. They will also customize a room, suite or apartment to accommodate an individual’s particular disability to provide maximum independence. Access improvements will be made to unique spaces as needed.
