Individual Assistance

The library staff is very willing to assist all students with disabilities in accessing library resources. They are available to provide assistance in any kind of research, including gathering materials, doing searches, and reading materials.

If you need assistance and are unsure how to get it, call Leland R. Deeds at the number listed above. Generally he recommends the following guidelines:

  • If you need assistance for less than a half hour, you can probably ask a staff member when you get to the library. If you need brief assistance at a small library, you should probably call ahead and let them know that you are coming since some libraries only have one staff member in the evenings.
  • If you need assistance for more than a half hour, you should probably call the staff member at the appropriate facility (listed below) to set up an appointment.
