Telephones

There are two TDD telephones at the University of Virginia:

  • General UVA (TDD Relay) 982-HEAR (V/TDD)
  • Learning Needs and Evaluation Center 243-5180 (V/TDD)

If you wish to call any department at the University of Virginia via TDD, call the general UVA TDD number. The person at this number will relay your TDD message vocally to the particular UVA office. This service is available 24 hours a day. Other than the LNEC, none of the other University or public phones around Grounds have TDD capacity or amplification for individuals with hearing impairments.
