University Committee on Fraternities and Sororities

Charge:

The University Committee on Fraternities and Sororities shall advise the President and Vice President for Student Affairs on ways to ensure effective communication among the various University constituencies committed to a strong fraternity and sorority system. Specifically, the purpose of the committee is to study and make recommendations on ways to strengthen student self governance of fraternities and sororities; strengthen alumni interest and investment in fraternities and sororities; nurture faculty involvement in fraternity and sorority life; strengthen institutional values within fraternities and sororities; and reward outstanding contributions by fraternities and sororities to the University community
