Designed in the mid-1960s by Johnson, Craven and Gibson, these 11 dormitories
brought new thinking to dormitory life, with modern exterior design and
a floor plan of suites rather than rooms on a long hallway. By 1967, this
dormitory complex provided living quarters for 1,440 students.
