Visitor, Patient, and Event Parking Information

Summer Orientation (June 25 - July 23, 2008): Parking will be available adjacent to the Student Activities Building (SAB), where Summer Orientation Check-In will take place. Upon checking in, students will receive a parking permit which will allow guests to park in the SAB lot for teh two-day period.
  Session L (August 20 - 22, 2008): Short-term parking will be available at the Aquatics and Fitness Center (AFC) for the Check-In period ONLY. Upon checking in, you will receive a list of available lots where you may park during the remainder of Session L. Parking in these areas will be complementary.

Hourly parking for visitors to the University can be found in several locations, including the Central Grounds Garage located on Emmet Street, directly below the University Bookstore. Groups of meters can also be found in Central and West Grounds to facilitate visits to various areas at the University. Short-term parking is available at the Athletic Ticket Office and the Cabell Hall and Culbreth Theater Box Offices.

Parking for Fitness and Recreation centers is provided via hourly meters. Multi-space meters are located at the following centers: Aquatics and Fitness Center (AFC), North Grounds Recreation Center, Slaughter Recreation Center.

Parking for patients and their visitors to the University Hospital is located on Lee Street across from the Primary Care Center and Emergency Department. There is additional patient parking off Jefferson Park Avenue just outside the entrance to the West Complex. There is patient parking along Hospital Drive to support the Barringer Wing and Private Clinics. Patient parking is provided on-site at the Fontaine Research Park and KCRC.
