University of Virginia leaders are beginning the process to select an interim University president.
Members of the University community are invited to nominate candidates by completing this online form. Netbadge access is required. The nomination form will remain open until July 25 at 5 p.m.
The University’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, Jennifer “J.J.” Wagner Davis, is serving as acting president while the process for selecting an interim president takes place.
The selection process will also include listening sessions with small groups of University constituents, including UVA and UVA Health faculty and staff, Academic Division leaders and students. The purpose of the listening sessions is to learn what qualities stakeholders seek in an interim president.
The University will seek input from the full University community, including alumni, when conducting a national search for UVA’s 10th president.
